Dr. Valarie Barker and her staff are known to provide some of most caring and compassionate veterinary medicine in the area. All her life she has raised, cared for and loved all sorts of animals. From livestock to pocket pets.
Dr. Barker graduated college in 1976 with a degree in Biomedical Science, and was bestowed her degree in veterinarian medicine by the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Between then and opening her practice over 10 years ago, she has been raised a family, taken Weimaraner dogs to show, and worked as a veterinary technician.
Dr. Barker loves her work and tries to incorporate her faith in God and Jesus Christ into her everyday life and practice. She takes seriously her responsibility of caring for God's creatures and helping to educate owners in the care of their feathered and furry loved ones.
